Hi, I'm a graduate student from California and was supposed to have my resident permit for 2 years, but it expires in September, so I need a renewal. However, there was an incident at customs when I made a dumb, one-time mistake of carrying pot from Copenhagen. They said my charge might be lowered, but last time they answered my email, they said they would send it but it wasn't and now I'm in California and I need them to send it to my address here. I'm just worried about if this will affect my re-entrance into the country or not. Please help!
